Steps to Enable Wi-Fi Calling on Android:
- Open the Settings App:
- From your home screen, tap on the Settings icon.
- Go to Network & Internet Settings:
- Scroll down and tap on Network & Internet (or Connections on some phones).
- Select Mobile Network:
- Tap on Mobile network (or SIM & Network depending on your device).
- Enable Wi-Fi Calling:
- Look for the Wi-Fi Calling option.
- Toggle the switch to turn on Wi-Fi calling.
- Confirm Emergency Address:
- Some devices and carriers may ask you to provide an emergency address for 911 services in case you need to use Wi-Fi calling for emergency calls.
- Wi-Fi Calling Enabled:
- Once Wi-Fi Calling is turned on, your phone will use Wi-Fi for calls when cellular service is weak and a Wi-Fi connection is available.
Alternative Method (if Wi-Fi Calling is in a Different Menu):
- Open Settings.
- Tap Connections or Network & Internet.
- Tap Wi-Fi Calling and toggle it On.
Notes:
- Not all carriers support Wi-Fi calling, so verify with your provider (e.g., Verizon).
- Wi-Fi calling might be under different settings based on the phone brand (Samsung, Google Pixel, etc.).
