To improve productivity and reduce email traffic within Stellar, we are implementing the TDX Production Control Ticket System to manage all incoming requests. Below is the direct link to the application. This system is the same one used in IT, featuring an identical User Interface with links to the Operations Support Ticketing System.
Screenshot 1 displays the current request types, many of which have additional options within the service. Please note that your screen may appear slightly different based on your permissions.
Moving Forward
We ask that all requests be submitted through the Ticketing System rather than via email. This ensures visibility for the entire team, preventing requests from being overlooked in individual mailboxes.
- When you Submit a Request, you will receive an email confirmation.
- You can reply to this email to add information or request an update, and it will be logged directly into the ticket.
- If you can’t find the email, you can view your tickets in the Client Portal by clicking the IT Help Desk Icon on your Computer Desktop (see Screenshot 2).
Notifying Additional Contacts
If you need to notify someone outside the Production Control Group, add their email addresses in the "Additional Contacts to be Notified" field on the entry form. Ensure you check the "Notify Contact(s)" box—otherwise, they will not receive updates (see Screenshot 3). Once added, they will receive notifications about ticket creation and any future updates. They can also reply with comments, eliminating the need to forward emails or create separate email threads. Best practice: Keep all communication within the ticket for better tracking and efficiency.

As you use the system, please share any feedback for improvements. Our goal is to streamline request submissions while ensuring Production Control has the necessary information to resolve issues efficiently. Continuous improvement is key!
