How to use Microsoft Entra SSPR

 

Before you begin

Make sure you've registered your authentication methods (e.g., Microsoft Authenticator mobile App, security questions, etc.). If you're not sure, visit: https://aka.ms/ssprsetup

 

Resetting your password (If you have forgotten it)

  1. Go to the Password Reset Page by visiting https://aka.ms/sspr or by clicking on the “Forgot my password” link when trying to sign in.
  2. Enter Your Account Username (firstname.lastname@stellarind.net) and enter the characters shown on the screen. Then click Next.
  3. Choose a Verification Method

You will be asked to verify your identity using two of the following:

- Mobile app code (Microsoft Authenticator)

- Mobile app notification

- Security questions

  1. Reset Your Password

Once verified, you will be prompted to enter a new password. Make sure it meets Stellar’s password requirements.

  • 14 Characters Minimum
  • Uppercase and lowercase letters
  • At least one Number
  • At least one Symbol
  • It can’t contain your username

Note: There is a minimum password age of 24 hours, which means if your password has just been set or changed, you can’t change it again for 24 hours.

  1. Sign In with Your New Password

You can now log in to your account using the new password.

 

Resetting your password (If you know it)

  1. Go to: https://myaccount.microsoft.com
  2. Sign in and click 'Password' on the left menu.
  3. Enter your current password, then your new password.
  4. Click 'Submit'.
