This article contains a guide to opening a ticket in TeamDynamix(TDX).
Keep in mind that this is just an example. Although your request might be different, the concepts
illustrated in this article of how to open a ticket, are the same.
How To Open A Ticket In TeamDynamix(TDX)
Click on the icon that says “IT Help Desk” on your computer desktop:
NOTE: Your icon may be different depending on your default browser.
You should get the client portal window as displayed below”
Click on the “Open a Ticket” link as shown in the picture above, circled in red.
That will open the next window. NOTE: Yours may look slightly different.
Consider the type of request you are opening a ticket for and select the appropriate link. From this point this example will show how to open a ticket for requesting a new computer. In that case you would click on the “Hardware” link as shown below.
Click on “New Hardware Request”.
Select either “Desktop Computer” or “Laptop Computer” whichever is needed.
In this example I selected “Desktop Computer” and got the screen below but yours will have
the appropriate options no matter which one you select. On this screen, you would click on the “Open a Ticket” link circled in red as shown below.
After the next window opens, populate the form with all of the necessary information required to create the ticket. Remember, the more information you provide in this initial ticket, the less time it will take the IT Team fulfill your request or resolve your issue. If information is missing, we will have to reach out to you to get those details which will delay your request. The more information included in the ticket, the better.
Once you have populated the form, click on the submit button in the lower left corner of the window as shown circled in red. NOTE: The “Request On Behalf Of” field is only required if you are filling out a ticket for someone else. Otherwise, if the request is for yourself, it is optional.
Once you click on the “Request button, that’s it! You’ve submitted your ticket and the IT Team will be notified to take action. Congratulations! You’ve created your first ticket in TeamDynamix(TDX).
