Enable Wi-Fi Calling on Andriod cell phones

Steps to Enable Wi-Fi Calling on Android:

  1. Open the Settings App:
    • From your home screen, tap on the Settings icon.
  1. Go to Network & Internet Settings:
    • Scroll down and tap on Network & Internet (or Connections on some phones).
  2. Select Mobile Network:
    • Tap on Mobile network (or SIM & Network depending on your device).
  3. Enable Wi-Fi Calling:
    • Look for the Wi-Fi Calling option.
    • Toggle the switch to turn on Wi-Fi calling.
  4. Confirm Emergency Address:
    • Some devices and carriers may ask you to provide an emergency address for 911 services in case you need to use Wi-Fi calling for emergency calls.
  5. Wi-Fi Calling Enabled:
    • Once Wi-Fi Calling is turned on, your phone will use Wi-Fi for calls when cellular service is weak and a Wi-Fi connection is available.

Alternative Method (if Wi-Fi Calling is in a Different Menu):

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Tap Connections or Network & Internet.
  3. Tap Wi-Fi Calling and toggle it On.

 

Notes:

  • Not all carriers support Wi-Fi calling, so verify with your provider (e.g., Verizon).
  • Wi-Fi calling might be under different settings based on the phone brand (Samsung, Google Pixel, etc.).
